Description

Spend a sunny summer Sunday exploring Spokane from across the bridges that connect our past and present.

Join historian, author, and storyteller Chet Caskey for a guided walking tour through downtown Spokane and Riverfront Park, crossing five historic bridges while uncovering the stories hiding in plain sight. Along the way, you’ll hear about railroads, Expo ’74, public art, local legends, and even a ghost story or two. Expect 1.5-2 mile mostly flat.

After the walk, we’ll head to Wiley’s Downtown Bistro—longtime SPA supporter and home of Inlander Readers’ Best Chef Michael Wiley—where the restaurant will be open exclusively for SPA. Enjoy a relaxed, three-course dinner and a drink with fellow preservation enthusiasts and plenty of conversation.

Only 50 tickets are available for this intimate experience.

Proceeds support the Spokane Preservation Advocates Heritage Fund, providing grants for local historic preservation projects throughout our community.

Come curious. Leave inspired (and well fed).
